Malcolm Turnbull's next round of cuts to weekend rates will hit on the 1st July, 2018.
This cut will see people pouring beers on a Sunday earn about $830 less than they did last year
What will the cuts mean for you?
People are working harder than ever to make ends meet.
Unfortunately, this Prime Minister cheers on wage cuts for those that give up their Sundays to put food on tables, pour refreshing beverages, and make that much-needed Sunday morning coffee.
Let us know what this cut will mean for you and your family.
And let's NEVER FORGET what Malcolm Turnbull thinks of those who work Sundays and Public Holidays.
Together we can Save Our Weekend.

It’s more concerned with bludgers on the system an new Australian, so how can new Australian afford new cars, houses then oh I know it’s off the back of hard working Australian men an woman who have two jobs an dubble the tax.
One way too destroy a system is to cut wages, so now we have the richest an the poor, well done Trumbull, try to live on $65,980 a year an pay rent, medical, an family experience.
I work most Weekends.
I work because I love what I do.
While I’m work, my family are home because I want to give them a chance to live. Most of my bills are paid because I work weekends
If the penalty rates are cut, that means that I can no longer do a full shop each fortnight; pay the bills on time (bills are paid fortnightly) and it means that I will have to move to cheaper housing which is hard if I want my kids to stay in the current school
Furthermore, they should be ashamed giving hard-working people (the backbone of society) tax relief of $10 per week , when they previously allowed penalty cuts of 25% to occur (in my case this means that I will loose more than 100 per fortnight – money to pay for my monthly electricity usage). Contrary, if they really cared about hard-working people, they would have intervened to stop penalty cuts to occur, instead they are “happy” to blame Labour for hard-working people being worse off. A government that pretends to “represent all Australians,” and wants “all Australians to better off,” wouldn’t have allowed such a massive penalty cut. Furthermore their persistence to legislate massive tax cuts for big businesses, for instance banks, is a constant reminder that they do not care about hard working Australians, particularly when one learns about big businesses’ abuse of power, taking advantage of vulnerable people etc. I my experience I have never worked for a business investing/employing more people just because of tax cuts.
I will get the usual annual payrise of 3,5%, ca. 0,40cents per hour, it will not compensate for the loss I am incurring, even though there was a basic wage increase of $25. It will take me years to just get the same amount of money I used to get before the penalty cuts. For my misery and the misery of other hard working people, I thank the Government and all the business people who are greedy and out of touch with reality.
So
I created a job for myself and now work full time but… when my condition deteriorates I have to close shop until I’m well enough to go again.
I’m lucky my clients at happy to go with the flow but on $38,000/year there no wriggle space.
Would you prefer me to go into the Centrelink system? I’m eligible and have been there. It’s just too humiliating
I’d rather go back to sleeping on the streets
Been there too
Senator, get to know your constituents. Homeless people can vote too
I did work on weekends and my pay was worthwhile because of penalty rates on the weekends. I feel sorry for those still in the industry who will suffer because of the cuts! Malcolm Turnbull, when you go out for a coffee on the weekends, do you think you are helping the industry?? You could be lucky and not get that coffee in your lap!!
This REALLY needs to change!!!
Australia is no longer a first world country, we are joining the ranks of the 3rd world when it comes to working conditions. Shame on Australia!!!
Why don’t workers join unions ????
Workers need to look at the history of how workers moved from slave labor to having decent conditions, we are currently slipping backwards fast! For gods sake vote them out!
